Amount of something that can be measured or calculated and expressed as numbers and units. Kinds of quantities:
A. Principal amount of
Quantity that does not depend on other quantities
B. Magnitude of the derivative
The quantity of units derived from the amount of principal units.
C. Scalar
Quantity that only has a large value only and does not have a direction. Example: mass, speed, pressure, time, and others.
D. A vector
Quantity that has magnitude and direction values. Example: displacement, force, velocity, momentum, and others.
