Symbiotic fungi and algae
Several types of Ascomycotina and some Basidiomycotina live symbiotically with algae or blue-green algae are generally one-celled form lichens. Is a pioneer lichens and vegetation as indicators of pollution levels. Lichens reproduce vegetatively by fragmentation or by soredium (the algal cells are covered with threads of hyphae of lichens found on the surface with a shape like flour).
